This Antonov An-2R  with the name of Annushka (pet name for girls called Anna) was part of the voluntary paramilitary DOSAAF (or ДОСААФ, Добровольное Общество Содействия Армии, Авиации и Флоту that translates to 'Voluntary Society of Assistance to the Army, the Air Force and the Navy') wing of the Soviet Armed Forces based in Ashgabat, now part of Turkmenistan.
